Today was pretty successful, as far as lazy Saturdays go. I slept in, did my laundry, went to Top Pot for the first time and ate a delicous lemon filled donut (and I'll definitely be back again- it's a 5 minute bus ride from my house!), and downloaded a super fun photo editting app (I never pay for apps, but Tiltshift Generator was definitely worth the 99 cents).

Next project!
All I need to find is a big sheet of white paper (I'll definitely skip framing it). And I'm sure there's a butterfly hole punch at home home (I'm not picky though - any biggish shape will work).

This is not me.
But I did wear each of these things today, only to realize on the walk home from the bus stop that I'd seen them all on the internet (some - the jeans and boots - before I bought them, and some - the scarf and shirt - before).
Boots- There's: Rockstar Diares Mine: Thrifted!
Black Jeans- There's: Wikstenmade Mine: Target
Shirt: There's: ellybeth Mine: identical, from h&m
Scarf: To be honest, I have no idea where I found this photo. But mine was on clearance at Target.

Coping Mechanisms
Apparently I embroider dinosaurs and my initials onto unsuspecting pillowcases when I'm a little upset.

anni albers washer necklace
anni albers washer necklace, originally uploaded by fieldguided.
I'm going to make one of these. As soon as I can get myself to a hardware store.
(P.S. I'm blogging straight from flickr for the first time - we'll see how this works.)
(P.P.S. It turned out really ugly, so I re-uploaded the photo. But it was a good idea, in principal.)
