But what color?

My grey Converses (which I've had since high school) broke down completely today. So I have to get new shoes, and I've decided on a pair of TOMs.. I just can't decide what color.

P.S. I chose grey. And I love love love love them.

We're getting excited for Halloween.

(And less excited about essay writing.)

Rainy Days and Mondays

I have a school camera right now, and a super busy week of school and work, so I'm trying to squeeze little bits of creativity in where I can (today that meant carrying the camera around while I got ready for school, and sewing on my only afternoon "off").

Waiting

For some time, and some funds.

Simple Dresses

My favorite dresses from the Anthro clearance section. I cheated and bought the black one yesterday (I shouldn't have, but I picked up extra hours at work this week, so it all evens out?). The quality of sewing and detail work which goes into Anthro pieces is amazing - sewing my own stuff has really made me appreciate how much more impressive something that has been well designed and well sewn is.

(I tried on the grey dress once too - it was fantastically soft and cozy.)

We interrupt your regularly scheduled studying for this important wish list.

I'm in a bit of spending freeze right now (due to me having the grown-up tendency to pay rent and buy iPhones). But when I can buy things again, I'll probably end up with:


1. A pair of TOMS. Or maybe something more rain-appropriate.
2. This poster.
3. A neat new necklace.
4. Patterned fabric and soft, colorful yarn.

Reheating Leftovers and Making Dorky Handouts

I'm still here. Doing school things, yawning, and trying not to be sick.

This is good.
