I don't even like Chicken Soup.

But the cold I've got right now is bad enough that I ate some for supper, along with my cough drops, sprite, and gallons of tea.

Spring in February

Today is probably the last day of the amazing sunny-snap we've had in Seattle, so I ran out side to snag a few flower photos before the sun set and the rain comes back.

Still Busy

And it doesn't show any signs of letting up soon. Full time student + part time job + hanging out with a friend or two = more hours than I seem to have in a day.

P.S. The mini lights in the photo are my favorite - I made them by sticking egg carton-cups onto old Christmas lights. Serious cheap-crafting love.

P.P.S. I picked up the painting on my bureau for $3 at IKEA, and the framed "art" is a collage I made by cutting up library-discard art books.

Kind of freaking out.

I won the Wednesday Giveaway over on Cup of Jo yesterday! My name was picked from over 1000 comments entered on the post. So these lovely earrings will be showing up on my doorstep someday soon! I'm pretty excited. :)

Top Pot

Today was pretty successful, as far as lazy Saturdays go. I slept in, did my laundry, went to Top Pot for the first time and ate a delicous lemon filled donut (and I'll definitely be back again- it's a 5 minute bus ride from my house!), and downloaded a super fun photo editting app (I never pay for apps, but Tiltshift Generator was definitely worth the 99 cents).

Next project!

All I need to find is a big sheet of white paper (I'll definitely skip framing it). And I'm sure there's a butterfly hole punch at home home (I'm not picky though - any biggish shape will work).

But I did wear each of these things today, only to realize on the walk home from the bus stop that I'd seen them all on the internet (some - the jeans and boots - before I bought them, and some - the scarf and shirt - before).
